Ustka

Ustka is the largest seaside resort between Kolobrzeg and Sopot. It is located at the mouth of the Słupia  River and serves since the 14th century as the port for nearby Slupsk. Since the end of the 19th century, Ustka developed into a popular beach destination. Because of its healthy climate and sandy beaches, many hotels and spas have arisen along the beach of Ustka, which is divided into a western and eastern part. The eastern part of the beach, close to the city center, is the most popular beach of Ustka. This is also where you will find the Promenade Nadmorska, a pedestrianized promenade which in summer is crowded with cafes, restaurants, market stalls and street artists. The western beach can be reached via a modern bridge across the Słupia River.
Apart from the beaches, other places of interest in Ustka include the pier, the port and the 19th century lighthouse. The small Regional Museum gives an impression of the history of Ustka and surrounding areas.
