Stargard Szczecinski
Stargard Szczecinski (Stargard Szczeciński) is one of the oldest cities in Pomerania. It was first mentioned in 1124 and started its heydays as a Hanseatic city in the 14th century. In the old city center you can still see many monumental buildings from the 14th to 16th century, many of which are built in the gothic brick style that is characteristic for this region. The highlights of Stargard include St. Mary's Church, the Town Hall at the Old Market Square, and the green park surrounding the city along the historic city walls.
