Swidwin Castle
The castle of Świdwin (Zamek
Świdwiński), which for many years was used by the Teutonic
Knights, dates back to the late 13th century, but little can
still be seen of its original Gothic style. It was rebuilt in the
18th century, changing its defensive purpose into a stately
residence.
The castle is now home to a cultural center, a small museum, a
library and a pub.
