Old Town Hall
The reconstruction of the
Old Town Hall (Ratusz Staromiejski), which dates back to
the 15th century, was completed in 1975.
In its latest
restauration it was given its original gothic appearance, with a
baroque southern facade. The town hall is located at the former
central market place of Szczecin, and is surrounded by a number of
reconstructed tenements with colorful historic facades.
The Old Town Hall is
now home to a museum, part of the National Museum, presenting the
history of Szczecin, as well as a restaurant and jazz
club.
