Nature in Pomerania
The Pomeranian Region is well-known for it's vast, varied and
unspoiled nature. The glaciers of the Ice Age have left the north
of Poland with many beautiful lakes, which are often situated in
hilly and green landscapes. Popular destinations for boating,
fishing or kayaking are for instance the Drawskie and Kuszubian
lake districts.
You will also find many large forests in this part of Poland,
which are great for hiking, mountain biking or horse riding.
Along the coast you can also enjoy nature at its best, with daring
cliffs in Wolin National Park, and moving sand dunes in Slowinski
National Park.
