St. Mary Basilica

The construction of the landmark Kolberger Cathedral (Bazylika Konkatedralna) commenced in the early 14th century, and was completed two centuries later. Although the church was severely damaged during sieges in the late 18th and early 19th century and during World War II, it has always been rebuilt and renovated in its original 15th century form.
The church was consecrated as St. Mary's Basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1986.
