Golden Gate
The
Golden Gate (Złota Brama) is the main entrance to Long Street. It
was built in late-Reneaissance style in the beginning of the 17th
century by the Dutch architect Abraham van den Blocke.
The white triumph arch is topped with a number of allergoric
figures, representing Freedom, Wealth, Glory, Justice, Piousness,
Wisdom and Harmony.
